Honey peanut butter oatmeal balls, a 5-minute no-bake snack made with rolled oats, creamy peanut butter, and honey. Easy to customize with chocolate chips, chia seeds, or coconut.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed, optional

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, optional

1/4 cup shredded coconut, optional

1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional

A small pinch of salt, optional

Instructions

1. Stir peanut butter and honey together in a medium bowl until smooth.

2. Add rolled oats and stir until every oat is coated.

3. Fold in chia seeds, chocolate chips, coconut, vanilla, or salt if using.

4. Press a small amount of dough between fingers; add honey or peanut butter if too dry, or oats if too sticky.

5. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.

6. Refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

Use creamy peanut butter for the smoothest texture; add extra oats if using a runny natural peanut butter.

Chill before rolling if the dough feels too sticky to handle.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.

Do not give honey to infants under 12 months.
